The work being done by Bhai Ghaniya Ji Mission Society (Regd.) for the service of mankind needs no introduction. The basic principle of the society is to render selfless service to the poor, needy & down trodden patients irrespective of caste, creed, color or race.

Brief History Bhai Ghaniya Ji- Ambassador of Service to Mankind

Bhai Ghaniya (1648-1718), was a disciple of Guru Teg Bahadur – Ninth Guru Nanak – the founder of Sikhism. Bhai Ghaniya Ji was born in a Dhamman Khatri family of Sodhare near Wazirabad in Sialkot district (now in Pakistan), His father was a rich trader, but he had a religious bent of mind and was in search of spiritual bliss. He met Guru Teg Bahadur in 1671 and remained in his holy company till 1675- when Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was martyred by Mughals defending the basic human and religious rights of oppressed Hindus.Read more...

Bhai Ghaniya Ji Mission Society Amritsar - A Philanthropic Society

Established in 1997, with the aim to help poor and destitute in their need of medical help, irrespective of their caste and creed, the Society’s first ward was a TB patient at Mata Kaulan Hospital. The Society provided the necessary medical aid, but the patient did not survive. But this experience strengthened the resolve of a few committed people, the founders of the Society, to carry on this selfless, humanitarian work and the Society was born. Objective of Society- Helping Poor Patients
  • To work for social service and for the welfare of humanity and to provide selfless service to all people without distinction of caste, creed, sex or religion.
  • To follow the path laid down by Bhai Ghaniya Ji who provided medical aid and help to ailing persons without distinction of caste, creed or sex.
  • To arrange and establish Medical Camps and to provide First Aid & Medical Aid to the needy persons.
  • To open the dispensaries, clinics or laboratories to provide medical facilities.
  • To arrange for first-aid and medical aid at various functions, gatherings and get together and in public meetings.
  • To meet the above objects, land and building at any suitable place or places may be obtained, purchased, acquired or taken on lease or on hire.
  • To do all such activities which are necessary to meet the above objects of the Society.
  • To propagate donation of blood, eyes or other organs.
