1.Hospitals

The Society is running two hospitals to serve the helpless and needy persons from the cross section of society.

(A) Bhai Ghaniya ji Sajan Sarswati Mission Hospital

This hospital is situated in Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Gujjar Pura, o/s Gilwali Gate, Amritsar in an area where majority of residents are below poverty line. To establish this Hospital, major funding was received from Late S. Gurmukh Singh Baura and family of UK through their Sajan Sarswati Foundation Trust, U.K. Its inauguration on May 14th, 2007 was attended by several prominent religious leaders including Singh Sahib Giani Joginder Singh Ji Vedanti, Former Jathedar Sri Akal Takhat Sahib, Sant Baba Sewa Singh Ji of Khadoor Sahib, Sant Baba Labh Singh Ji, of Quila Anandgarh, Baba Kashmira Singh Ji Bhoori wale and others.

Dental Care Centre

Dental Care Centre is equipped with modern technology and treatment of patients is done at cost which is very economical.
Apart from the above, this hospital provides medical services for eyes and gynaecology patients.

Computerised Laboratory

Computerised Laboratory tests are conducted at rates affordable to the poor residents of the area.

(B) Bhai Ghaniya Ji Allopathic O.P.D. Hospital

This is a double storey hospital which came into existence in September, 2012 in New Pawan Nagar, Amritsar, an area inhabited by people who are deprived of basic health care services due to economic reasons. The society has qualified and experienced doctors in this hospital for general ailments, Ortho, Eyes, ENT, Gynecology, Skin etc. It also has high-tech computerised Laboratory, where tests are also done at cheaper rates.

(2). Physiotherapy Centres

(A). S. Gyan Singh Ji Chawla Memorial Bhai Ghaniya Ji Mission Society Physiotherapy Centre:-

S. Amarjit Singh Ji Chawla, Australia has sponsored this centre in memory of his father S. Gyan Singh Ji Chawla and Mother Sardarni Gyan Kaur Ji Chawla. The centre is located in the building of Bhai Ghaniya Ji Sajan Sarswati Mission Hospital.

Besides, Prof. Ms Dephne May of U.K. has generously donated funds for the establishment of Ceragem Thermal Massager Unit in this hospital.

(B). Sh. Kartar Chand Memorial Bhai Ghaniya Ji Physiotherapy Centre

This centre was commenced in August, 2014 in Pawan Nagar, Amritsar. It is equipped with modern equipment’s and machinery. Well qualified and experienced Physiotherapists with their dedicated teams are treating the patients.

(3) Dispensaries

(A). Bhai Ghaniya Ji Allopathic Dispensary

The dispensary was established on 13th December,2008 in Shaheed Baba Sangat Singh, Baba Jeewan Singh Nagar, Maqbool Pura, Mehta Road, Amritsar. It was sponsored by S. Tarlochan Singh Ji of Raipur. Medicines are provided to the poor people who are living in a densely populated area in the vicinity of the dispensary.

(B). S. Narinder Singh Ji Memorial Bhai Ghaniya Ji Homeopathy Dispensary

This dispensary was established in memory of S. Narinder Singh Ji, Vice-President of the society in Gurudwara Mohan Nagar, Sultanwind Road, Amritsar by his family members. Homeopathy medicines are in great demand in this area.

(C). Mobile Dispensary Van

With the kind assistance of Late S. Gurmukh Singh Baura of Sajan Saraswati Foundation Trust U.K. a specially built well-equipped mobile dispensary van is providing medical assistance in remote villages. The van goes to two villages on alternative days. The villagers are informed of the schedule ahead of time. Over 200 patients are served each day.

(4) Miscellaneous Medical Centres

(A) S. Basant Singh Hanspal Eye care Centre

In the memory of S. Basant Singh Ji Hanspal, a devoted person of the society with the co-operation of Late S. Jasbir Singh Hanspal, Gen. Secy. Thekedar Bishan Singh Hanspal Public Charitable Trust, started S. Basant Singh Hanspal Eye Care Centre which was inaugurated by Smt. Lakshmi Kanta Chawla, Hon’ble Health Minister, Punjab, on 7.3.2010. The society helps the poor patients for their cataract operations at highly concessional and affordable rates from Nirmaljot Eye Hospital, Mall Road, Amritsar. However, those who even cannot pay the subsidized rates are given free treatment.

(B) Bhai Surat Singh “Puran Ji” Cancer Care Unit

Another Unit in name of Bhai Surat Singh “Puran Ji” Cancer Care Unit was started to help the poor patients. The unit is sponsored by the family, their relatives & followers. The unit is functioning from the administrative office of the society, 62, East Mohan Nagar, Amritsar.

(C) Acupressure and Suzok Centre

The Centre is being run in the office hall at 62, East Mohan Nagar, Amritsar. Smt. Harmeet Kaur Incharge is managing the centre. The centre is equipped with latest machinery including Blood Circulation Massager.

(D) Ambulance/Dead Body Van

The Van services are provided at very nominal charges, which too are waived in case of a needy person. The van was donated by Sajan Saraswati Foundation trust, U.K.

(E) Extension Counters

In order to reach more poor patients, the society has established following extension counters at Government and Charitable hospitals in the city. Volunteers of the society devote their time at these counters and guide patients. Further the indoor patients are provided the medicines prescribed by the doctors at subsidized rates from the empanelled chemists.
